boulderbrook productions is planning an alternate event for the weekend of The Naples national Art Festival. We are currently in discussions with St. Pete and one other fantastic community so that we can offer our long time associates an alternative on this weekend.

boulderbrook productions managed the Naples National Art Festival for seven years. The 2007 Naples National was our last time directing the event, the 2007 festival was the most successful National in the history of the event. We no longer handle this account. However we just received some wonderful news regarding our last event.

At 28 years old, the National is still considered the granddaddy of Naples art shows: …just peruse the 200 Best index, where you’ll find four shows from Naples and two from nearby Bonita Springs. So, it’s an honor indeed to hold down the top spot among these established events.

The Art Association does a great job organizing the event, and a lot of the show’s recent success is due to promoter Richard Sullivan. The 2007 show was his last with the Festival, (but the new Naples Masters is rup and running click here) …. Although we’ll have to wait and see where the 2008 event places in the 200 Best when votes are counted next year, attendance stayed pretty steady, at about 30,000.

Regarding quality, the Festival, as one 2007 artist put it, is “like the greatest hits of the Florida show circuit.”

We now will be making every effort to manage our new Naples Masters Event with the same attention to detail and focus that made The National so successful and we will develop it to become another Top 5 event.
