Recognition is a wonderful thing…..

The 2008 September Issue of Sunshine Artist Magazine arrived in our mailbox this morning.

We were very happy to see that the Naples festival that we produced in 2007 was recently voted the #5 highest rated festival in the nation by artists who submit their reviews to the magazine.

We have taken all that we learned and all of our effort to build our March 2009 Naples Masters Art Festival with the same commitment to excellence. Our Naples Masters Festival has quickly become the finest show we have ever produced in Naples, Florida.

Since you all know how shy and modest I am I have included an excerpt from the September Issue.

Sunshine Artist Magazine September 2008 Best 200 Shows

#5 Naples
At 28 years old, this Naples show is still considered the granddaddy of Naples art shows: …just peruse the 200 Best index, where you’ll find four shows from Naples and two from nearby Bonita Springs. So, it’s an honor indeed to hold down the top spot among these established events.

The Art Association does a great job organizing the event, and a lot of the show’s recent success is due to promoter Richard Sullivan. …  the new Naples Masters is ready to go, click here…. Although we’ll have to wait and see where the 2008 event places in the 200 Best when votes are counted next year, attendance stayed pretty steady, at about 30,000.

Regarding quality, the Festival, as one 2007 artist put it, is “like the greatest hits of the Florida show circuit.” …..
